Sevens Legal APC ("Sevens Legal," "we," "our," or "us") is a professional law corporation registered in the State of California. This Privacy Policy governs how we collect, use, store, and protect personal information obtained through our website at sevenslegal.com, our intake forms, our SMS communications program, and all interactions with our office. We are committed to maintaining the confidentiality and security of the personal information entrusted to us, consistent with our obligations as attorneys and with applicable privacy laws.

  • Communications Data: Records of telephone calls, emails, SMS message exchanges, and written correspondence with our office.
  • Technical & Usage Data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages visited, referral URLs, and interaction timestamps collected automatically when you visit our website.
  • Financial Information: Billing details and payment records necessary to establish and manage retainer agreements and fee arrangements, processed through secure third-party payment processors.
  • SMS Consent Data: Opt-in records including the timestamp, consent language presented, and your checkbox selection at the time of form submission.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive categories of personal data beyond what is directly relevant to your legal matter and representation.

Sevens Legal APC operates an SMS notification program for clients who have expressly opted in through our website consent form. Participation is entirely voluntary.

Opt-In: You opt in by checking the consent checkbox on our form and submitting your phone number. The checkbox is not pre-checked and is never required to submit the form.

Types of Messages: By opting in, you consent to receive non-marketing text messages from Sevens Legal APC, including: appointment confirmations and reminders, case status updates, document requests, court date reminders, and consultation confirmations related to your legal matter.

Message Frequency: Message frequency varies depending on the nature and status of your legal matter. You may receive multiple messages per week during active case periods.

Opt-Out: You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any message. Upon receiving your STOP request, we will send a final confirmation and no further messages will be sent.

Message & Data Rates: Standard carrier message and data rates may apply to messages sent and received. Contact your wireless provider for details about your plan.

No Mobile Information Will Be Shared. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service providers or case management platforms, is permitted solely to facilitate our communications program. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, lease, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service Providers: Trusted vendors and subcontractors who provide operational services on our behalf, such as scheduling platforms, case management software, secure communication tools, and IT support. These providers are contractually bound to confidentiality and may not use your data for any purpose other than performing services for us.

No Sale of Personal Data
