Sevens Legal’s First Annual Holiday Food Drive 2025

Presented by Sevens Legal in Partnership with the San Diego Food Bank

This holiday season, Sevens Legal Criminal Lawyers is proud to lead a legal community-wide effort to support the San Diego Food Bank and provide meals for local families in need.

From November 17 through December 1, 2025, law firms and attorneys across San Diego are teaming up for a friendly competition with a powerful purpose — to fill red food barrels with nonperishable donations that make a real difference.

Because when it comes to helping those who need it most, we’re all on the same side.

How It Works

Confirm your firm’s participation by October 31 to be included in this year’s food drive. Email Jessica at jessica@sevenslegal.com to register.

(All confirmed participants will be submitted to the San Diego Food Bank by Sevens Legal.)

Receive Your Red Food Barrel

Each participating firm will receive a red donation barrel delivered directly to their address on November 17th.

Collect Donations for Two Weeks

Encourage your team to contribute nonperishable food items between November 17 and December 1, 2025.

Weigh-In and Winner Announcement

On December 1st, the San Diego Food Bank will collect all barrels and record each firm’s total donation weight.

The firm with the highest total weight will be announced on Sevens Legal’s and the San Diego Food Bank’s social media channels and will receive a plaque honoring its outstanding contribution to the San Diego community.

What You Can Donate

The San Diego Food Bank accepts a wide range of nonperishable food items, including:

• Canned chicken and tuna

• Canned fruits and vegetables

• Dried fruit

• Peanut butter

• Dry or canned beans

• Rice, pasta, and cereal

• Canned soup

• Nuts and seeds

• Powdered milk

• Infant formula

Please Note: Due to safety regulations, the San Diego Food Bank cannot accept homemade food products, glass containers, alcohol of any kind, or perishable items.

Throughout the two-week food drive, Sevens Legal will be sharing daily updates and photos of our food barrel’s progress — and spotlighting other firms that are making an impact across San Diego.

Key Dates To Remember

• October 31: Last day to confirm participation

• November 17: Barrels delivered & food drive begins

• December 1: Barrels picked up and weighed

• December 5: Winner announced on social media and via email (date is subject to change based on the number of participants)
