Ms. Jesser attended Ohio University where she graduated cum laude with a dual bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Political Science, as well as a certificate in Law, Justice, and Culture. After completing her undergraduate studies, Ms. Jesser attended the University of Cincinnati College of Law, where she further pursued her passion for criminal defense. During her time in law school, Ms. Jesser worked for the Ohio Innocence Project, the Juvenile Division of the Hamilton County Public Defender, and the San Diego County Public Defender.
After graduating from law school, Ms. Jesser worked for the Colorado State Public Defender as a Deputy Public Defender, handling hundreds of criminal cases including DUI’s, violent crimes, domestic disputes, drug possession, traffic matters, and more. During her time at the Colorado State Public Defender, Ms. Jesser went through extensive trial advocacy training and conducted many of her own trials, often resulting in favorable outcomes for her clients. Ms. Jesser has handled both misdemeanor and felony cases.
